Best Bets of Week 14

Best bet record 16-21-2

Well we kept shooting and we had a successful week 13. 2-1 I went. The Colts hung on because Deshaun Watson forgot how to catch a football and the Giants covered with ease and even won outright in Seattle. PJ’s Guarantee missed sadly but I am not even made at the 49ers. Josh Allen was unbelievable and sometimes that is just how the cookie crumbles. Lets try and gain some momentum with this week’s best bets.

1) Eagles(+8) VS Saints

Everyone off the Wentz Wagon and all aboard the Hurt’s Hoverboard! As an Eagles fan this is a must play! No offense to Wentz but if the Hurts just plays a little better then what Wentz was able to do, then the Eagles should have a chance to actually upset the Saints. Just like when I picked the Eagles to cover vs the 49ers all the way back in week 4 they match up well with the Saints. They should be able to contain the running attack with their elite D line and make Taysom Hill beat you. Some interesting stats. In Doug Pederson tenure with the Eagles they are 11-3 SU without Wentz and in those games they are 11-3 ATS as well. The Saints have covered every single game that Taysom Hill has started and are 8-0 SU in their last 8 games where Drew Brees is out. The numbers favor both sides. The under is 5-0 in Saints last 5 games overall. The under is 6-0 in Eagles last 6 games overall. The under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. This is the season for the Eagles I think they go all out and cover on a low scoring game. Saints 23 Eagles 17

2) Giants(+3) vs Cardinals

This is the 3rd straight week that the Giants have been on the best bets list. Once again I love them this Sunday. The Giants right now are the hottest team in football. Defensively they have a top 10 unit in the NFL, once again not allowing 20+ points for the 4th straight week. Daniel Jones is expected to be back after he missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury. That should only help the offense. The Cardinals have struggled as of late losing 2 straight. The Cardinals are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Giants are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog, and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. If you have read my blog every week I love riding the hottest team in football. I did it with the Dolphins and I’m doing it here with the Giants. Giants win their 5th straight Giants 23 Cardinals 20

3) Ravens(-1) @ Browns (PJ’s Guarantee)

Well, the 49ers failed us last week pushing our PJ’s Guarantee record to 6-7. We haven’t been below .500 since week 3. Its a cold streak that I am determined to overcome. It starts on Monday Night Football with the Ravens beating the Cleveland Browns. The last time these 2 teams played the Ravens won 38-6. At that point we thought the Ravens were a top 5 team in the NFL and it just be another disappointing year for the Browns. Well now we are in week 14. The Browns are 9-3 and clinched their first winning season since 2007 and the Ravens are currently out of the playoffs at 7-5. This is the season for the Ravens. They cannot afford to lose this game. Baltimore is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 division games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games. Baltimore is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings between these two teams in Cleveland. This is one of those plays where can I really see the Ravens missing the playoffs? I just can’t do it. Ravens 30 Browns 20
