Best Bets of Week 6
Best bet record 10-8
Well we didn’t have back to back over .500 weeks as we went 1-2 last week. This putting our best bet record at 10-8. Not bad, but I need to be better. The Cowboys play was just a complete misread. I did not think and I really don’t think the entire country thought they would look that bad on Monday Night. I still believe the Panthers were the right play they just uncharastically turned the ball over and it cost them. The good news is that PJ’s Guarantee hit for the 4th straight week as the Steelers crushed the Browns. Lets try to make it 5 in a row and lets get the other two picks right as well so here are the 3 best bets for week 7.
1) Bills(-10) @ Jets

I know the Bills are coming off two straight losses vs very good football teams in the Titans and Chiefs. That is why I love them this weak vs the awful New York Jets. This 2020 Jets team is so far the worst team in NFL history posting a points differential of -110. The Bills need this win, the Patriots and even the Dolphins are starting to catch them. Josh Allen hasn’t been great since his hot start but against this putrid Jets D he doesn’t have to be. Jets aren’t just 0-6 SU, they’re 0-6 ATS as well. No reason not to bet against the Jets until they prove us wrong. Bills 30 Jets 13
2) Patriots(-2) vs 49ers

Jimmy G makes his return to Foxboro and boy is this one an interesting matchup. Both teams have struggled lately as this is the first time the Patriots are 2-3 since 2002. The 49ers on the other hand over their last 3 have struggled, but bounced back last week at home vs the Rams. The 49ers have a turnover issue posting 7 in 6 games and no team since Belichick era has been better on the defensive side of the ball and forcing turnovers. I know the Patriots just put up an absolute dud last week against the Broncos but Cam Newton wasn’t 100% and it showed. I expect a much better game from him this week. The 49ers are 2-6-1 ATS against a team with a losing record. Two interesting stats that trend the Patriots way are: Patriots are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game, and Patriots are 49-24-1 ATS in their last 74 games following a straight up loss. I’ll take the Patriots in a bounce back game Patriots 23 49ers 17
3) Packers(-3.5) @ Texans (PJ’s Guarantee)

We are on fire with these PJ Guarantees as the Steelers demolished the Browns 38-7. I got a real good feeling the Packers are going to make 5 straight after Sunday. The Packers got their butt whooped in Tampa Bay, and now all the sudden they aren’t an elite football team? Stop it! Top to bottom the Packers are much better than the Texans. This will be proven on Sunday. The Texans have been playing inspiring ball since they fired Bill O’Brien but they are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 home games. Those numbers I just can’t ignore. The biggest stat for me is the Packers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games after an ATS loss. That is an unreal stat and one that can’t be ignored. PJ’s Guarantee will hit 5 in row after a Packers 35 Texans 24 victory.
