Best Bets of Week 6

Best bet record 9-6

I hope you read last weeks picks because it’s about damn time we had a perfect 3-0 week. The Dolphins easily covered and even won outright with ease against the 49ers. The Vikings lost a shootout but covered the spread as predicted and the Cardinals blew out the Jets to keep the streak alive as now 3 straight weeks PJ’s Guarantee of the week has hit. Let’s stay hot with this week 3 best bets.

1) Cowboys(+1) vs Cardinals

I understand what you may be thinking. The Cowboys just lost their franchise QB Dak Prescott for the season and now they have play a dynamic offense in Arizona against the league’s worst defense. Also, Kyler Murray is undefeated in Jerry World. Well not anymore! The Cardinals do not have a single impressive win on their schedule as they have beaten the Jets, Football team and 49ers. This team has been inconsistent all year and I expect that to continue on Monday night. No, Chandler Jones is really gonna hurt the Cardinals on the defensive side of the ball. I don’t expect to see the Cowboys skip a beat on offense with Dalton now at QB. Interesting stat, in a game where the line is <+3 the Red Rocket is 16-5-2 in his career. Take the Boys + the points in a close one on Monday Night Cowboys 30 Cardinals 27

2) Panthers(-1.5) vs Bears

I have loved this Carolina Panthers football team. Their young, fast and have a great HC in Matt Rhule. Surprisingly, in year one in the Matt Rhule ERA they have a chance to blow away expectations. In week 3 the Panthers D finally stopped a streak on giving up 30+ points in 11 straight games. Since then, they have given up 16 to the Chargers, 21 vs the Cardinals and 16 at the Falcons. Three above average offenses in my mind. Since, CMC went down they have not skipped a beat on offense and Mike Davis is averaging 73 rushing yds per game and 44 receiving yds per game. They are facing a team in the Bears that I have no idea how they are 4-1. The Bears are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games. Chicago is also 1-6 ATS versus a team with a winning record and 0-5 ATS in the last five after an ATS win. I’ll take the Panthers 23 Bears 20

3) Steelers(-3.5) vs Browns (PJ’s Guarantee)

Alright, just to remind everyone who is reading this, my last 3 PJ Guarantees have all hit with ease. Let’s make it 4 with the Steelers. I can admit I was not a fan of this Steelers team to begin the year. They have made me look foolish for thinking that. I thought losing Javon Hargraves would hurt there defensive line. It is somehow better. The Steelers lead the NFL in sacks and pressures and they are on pace for the most sacks in NFL history. Historically the Steelers have destroyed the Browns going 25-4-1 against the Browns since 2004. This Cleveland team is most likely the best they have faced since then. Cleveland is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games within the division. The home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams. This is going to be a close game. I don’t think Baker is 100% healthy and he’s not going to have all day to throw against this elite Dline. Big Ben makes just enough throws. Steelers 28 Browns 20
