Best Bets of Week 5

Best bet record 6-6

We are back to a.500 record after going 2-1 last week. The Eagles, easily covered and even won outright against the 49ers and once again PJ’s Guarantee hit again with the Baltimore Ravens covering the 13 point spread when the faced The Football Team. Yet, lightning struck twice as I for some reason thought the Jets could somehow win a game. My bad on that one. Lets get over.500 this week with this weeks 3 best bets.

Dolphins(+9) @ 49ers

Since losing in week 1 by double digits to the New England Patriots. The Dolphins have not trialed by double digits since. The Dolphins are 8-2 in their last 10 games after a straight-up loss. Also, Miami is 11-5 in their last 16 games overall and 11-5 in their last 16 as an underdog. Also interesting stat I found  San Francisco is 2-5-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record and 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 games as a favorite. I understand Jimmy G is back and so is Mostert. The defense is still really beat up and this Dolphins D deserves some respect. 49ers 24 Dolphins 20

2. Vikings (+7.5) @ Seahawks

This game is going to be a shootout. Neither team hasn’t taken the defensive side of the ball that seriously. The Over/Under line is set at 57.5 which means Vegas expects a ton of points and so do I. No Jamaal Adams again for the Seahawks and that will be the difference in the Vikings be able to cover. 7.5 is such an awkward line as a touchdown is obviously worth 7 points. Vegas is making you pick a side. I’ll pick a shootout being a one score game over a two. Weird stat The Vikings are 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 games in October and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games in Week 5. Seahawks 33 Vikings 30

3. Cardinals(-7) @ Jets (PJ’s Guarantee)

I’m done with the Jets. Two straight weeks they were on the good side of my best bets of the week. Not this week. Sam Darnold is out and the line has moved a .5 points. That just proves how bad this Jets team is outside of the QB. Le’veon Bell might be coming back which will help their putrid offense. Lets be honest. This Defense couldn’t stop Brett Rypien and the Broncos injury riddled offense, how are they gonna stop this dynamic offense. Also, Cardinals are hungry for a win after dropping 2 straight to teams they are better than in my opinion. Arizona is 7-2-2 ATS in their last 11 road games. Meanwhile, the Jets are  4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 home games. Cardinals 34 Jets 17
