Best Bets of Week 2

Best bet record 1-2

Tough one for our first week of best bets. Panther had the ball at the Raiders 50 and on 4th and inches ran a fullback dive when they have CMC. Saints took care of business but the Lions did Lions and ruined my guarantee of the week, blowing a 23-6 to MITCHELL TRIBISKY and the Bears. To make things worse Deandre Swift dropped the game winning TD pass. That is just how the cookie crumble sometimes. Hopefully I am better this week so here are our the picks.

1. Ravens(-7) @ Texans

I don’t think you could think any team could ask for a more difficult start to your schedule than the Houston Texans. First the Chiefs now the Ravens. The talent difference between these two teams is massive to me. Lamar has another monster game as the Texans struggle to stop the run for the second straight week. I like Ravens big 34-24.

2.Jaguars(+9) @ Titan

Minshew mania is back!! Minshew was dissecting the Colts defense in week 1 with an absurd 19/20 173yds and 3TD. The Jags on paper have one of the worst rosters in the NFL, yet they didn’t play like it in week 1. People forget they still have good talent on the defensive side of the ball with Josh Allen and CJ Henderson. The Titans on the other hand did not look good week 1. Even with Von Miller out and AJ Bouye getting hurt mid game they could not get anything going on monday night. Not to mention Gostkowski has completely forgot of to kick a field goal. 9 points is a lot so I love the Jaguars to cover here 24-21.

3.Vikings(+3) @ Colts (PJ’s Guarantee)

Did PJ’s first guarantee miss? Yes. Not my fault, the Lions blew a 23-6 lead and dropped the game winning TD with 5 seconds to go. We move on to Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. Listen, losing to that bad man Aaron Rodgers is okay. Losing to 11 kids Philip Rivers isn’t. Take the better team with the better QB on the road where home field advantage does not exist this season.
